The whole thing weighs 9.3 ounces with alkaline batteries—a negligible extra load in our stuffed backpack.

Creative ZEN X-Fi with Wireless LAN

Creative's ZEN X-Fi with Wireless LAN offers plenty of features including wireless capabilities at a great price. Ultimately it was impressing to see that what this cute little baby can do. Streaming and downloading music wirelessly is a blast, and the player even lets you create avatars and chat with friends in Yahoo Instant Messenger or Windows Live Messenger. Wireless functionality aside, the ZEN X-Fi is a solid PMP that comes with far-better-than-average earphones.

Spion’s Portable Voice Lie Detector

All you need to do is ask the Spion device three yes or no questions to record the voice and “establish a baseline”. Once you have that, you can have the suspect on his or her lies. This device is not 100 percent accurate, but it is apparently more accurate than the polygraphs that the FBI uses.

Philips SHB 7110 or Tapster

Bluetooth Stereo Headsets are definitely going to be the way people are going in a wireless age. Philips SHB 7110, or Tapster not only sync with the user’s MP3 Player or smartphone, but it has some very unique touch-sensitive controls. We can only assume that this is why it is called the Tapster, because the controls are all done by tapping or some touches. For example, to increase the volume of playback, enough to hold your finger on the headphones in a certain direction, and redirect the call to the phone you can just removing the earpiece from the ear.

Currently it is a wait and watch game, lets see what happens when it hits the market.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Review

Nokia’s first touchscreen smartphone Nokia 5800 XpressMusic was announced on 2008, October. Call quality was never an issue with the 5800, as it easily lived up to expectations of a Nokia-branded phone. Loudspeaker sounded quite loud even in noisy environments.

The vibro alter is of moderate strength.
Nokia’s first touchscreen smartphone isn’t a mixed bag by any means. Going for it are a stable OS, decent sales package that very few other phones have, and a wealth of multimedia features onboard. For a moment it may feel like a perfect phone, but there is no such thing, right? In fact it does have some glitches in the way of software (for example when adding the Birthday field the phone automatically closes the contact menu), but we certainly expected to see more of them in this newly designed operating system. On balance the Nokia 5800 Tube offers pretty decent sound quality, audible stereo speakers, WiFi connectivity, and a sizable display that will remain the best on the market for a quite a while. Frankly, there is hardly anything to criticize the 5800 for, given how little it goes for - there has never been a phone like this before and now it raises the bar to a wholly new level. While the Nokia 5800 will be the way to go for everyone who is after a well-rounded do-it-all solution. The revolution is already here and its name is “Nokia 5800 XpressMusic” - there will be no other similarly geared and at the same time well-balanced phone in 2009. It sports an unparalleled price/quality ratio and changes the rules for all phone makers out there, including Nokia itself.
